Service Summary

Information Technology Services and Auxiliary Enterprises are pleased to announce that Barnes and Noble College will take over management of the Patriot Tech computer store effective March 12, 2018. Expanding our partnership with Barnes and Noble College provides the Mason community with an improved customer experience while leveraging the retail service expertise of a Fortune 500 company. In order to prepare for this transition, Patriot Tech will be closed Monday, March 12 through Friday, March 16. Under the management of Barnes and Noble College, Patriot Tech will re-open on Monday, March 19 in the same location. This transformation will bring the following benefits to the Mason community. 

Students will experience: 

  • Simplified transaction process, accepting all major credit cards 
  • Flexible hours that work for their busy schedules 
  • Larger selection of merchandise to purchase in store and online 
  • Trade-in program to update older systems 
  • On-site Apple Certified Technicians  
Mason faculty and staff will experience: 
  • The same faculty and staff discount offered at the Mason Bookstore 
  • The ability to make departmental purchases with a Mason P-Card 
  • The ability to pick up in-stock items with an approved purchase order (EP#)  
  • On-site Apple Certified Technicians

How to Get this Service

Patriot Tech is located on the Fairfax Campus in the Johnson Center, Room 133.

There is no charge for this service.
