Service Summary

Workflow is an application that automates, simplifies, and directs the flow of Banner information and procedures across the university. It uses maps of business processes to speed completion of tasks while ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Customers design maps in Workflow and then collaborate with the Database Support group on migration, role creation, and assignment of responsibilities.

How to Get this Service

Authorized employees are automatically added to Banner Workflow based on their job classification.

Employees who require access to Banner Workflow, but were not automatically enrolled, will need to complete a Banner Administrative Systems Account Request form.

There is no charge for this service.


Workflow Production service is available 24/7, excluding planned outages, normal maintenance windows, and unavoidable events. Maintenance windows are Sundays from 7 to 11:30 a.m. If maintenance is required outside of these hours, it will be announced on the Planned Outages web page.
