OSX Upgrade and Installation

The newest version of OS X is a free install to all Macs that meet the minimum requirements.

Most Macs will meet the minimum requirements and it is safe to attempt the upgrade. If the Mac does not meet the minimum requirements then it will let you know and not proceed with the upgrade.

Before you begin the upgrade, make sure all your data is backed up. ITS recommends using Apple's Time Machine, a feature built into all Macs.

A fully-automated Self-Service option is now available.

Note: If your Mac is on an unsupported version of OS X you may request an upgrade without charge.
